Loans
Blue Flame offers a number of loan types. We determine the interest rate based on the number of months financed and the members beacon score. Click here for current loan rates. The following is a list of loans that we offer:
- Auto – new and used
- Personal – max of $1500.00 or 1 month gross – whichever is greater
- Home Equity Line of Credit – based on appraised value of home
- Collateral – must have model or serial number – example = appliances, boat, ATV, etc.
- Christmas – to be paid back in one year
- Share Secured – pledged with shares
Deposit Accounts
SHARE ACCOUNT
Share (Savings) Account is an interest earning savings account. A deposit of $25.00 is required to open an account and you must maintain this amount as long as the account is active. The amount of interest earned is based on the balance in the account. Dividends are paid on a quarterly basis and determined by the Board of Directors. Click here to view our current rates.
SHARE DRAFT ACCOUNT
Share Draft (Checking) Account is a transaction account. You must maintain $100.00 in your savings account at all times to have an active draft account. There is no monthly fee and debit cards are available on share draft accounts. Overdraft protection may be applied to accounts that qualify.
CHRISTMAS CLUB ACCOUNT
This account is also an interest earning savings account that is disbursed each year in the first week of October.
Other Services Available
Here at Blue Flame Credit Union we offer a variety of financial services. The following is a list of other services available:
- Audio Response System – Our audio number is 251-450-4893. This allows you 24 hour access to your information.
- Direct Deposit – This will save you a trip to the Credit Union every payday.
- Payroll Deduct – Never have to worry about whether your loan payment, share deposit, draft deposit, or Christmas club deposit has been made. With payroll deduct we make things easier for you.
- Wire Transfers- Need to get money to someone quickly. For a small fee, the Credit Union can get it done in a snap
- Travel Cards – Coming Soon!! This will replace our traveler’s checks. This card is reloadable up to 4 times and is accepted worldwide at Visa locations. Use it like an ATM card.
